Squatties are probably one of the main things I will NOT miss in China. For some reason they think it is better to basically but in hole in the ground for a toilet instead of having a "western" toilet. Usually they are pretty dirty, but when it's all ya got you don't really have a choice. Here is a clean one and Janai and I demonstrate the right and wrong way to use one.

Hey, Sarah. we once had a nutritionist in our church when i was a kid. He said you will never find a Chinese person with hemorrhoids because they always squat when they use the bathroom. Hence the squatties!!!!
